Tracy Ayling KC features in ITV’s “Essex Millionaire Murders”

2BR’s Tracy Ayling KC features in a new two-part “true-crime” documentary series, to be broadcast on ITV starting on 28 April 2025.  The series (Essex Millionaire Murders) recounts the investigation and conviction of Luke D’Wit for the murders of Carol and Stephen Baxter.

Tracy, leading Alex Stein, successfully prosecuted Mr D’Wit at Chelmsford Crown Court for the double-murder.  The offending involved Mr D’Wit creating multiple false personalities (including posing as a doctor) and the administering of lethal drug fentanyl.  Mr D’Wit was sentenced by Mr Justice Lavender to sentences of life imprisonment, with a minimum term of 37 years.
