Success for Christine Agnew QC and Rhys Rosser

Christine Agnew QC leading Rhys Rosser represented Mr C who was acquitted of Murder before Chelmsford Crown Court. Christine and Rhys were instructed by Michael Rees and Kristina Smith of Levy & Co.

Mr C was alleged to have taken part in a joint enterprise attack on the victim as part of a dispute over drugs supply. Following a trial lasting a number of weeks the jury returned a Not Guilty verdict against Mr C. Both of Mr C’s co-defendants were convicted of murder and will be sentenced later this year.
