Stan Reiz KC successfully defends client against charges of murder, manslaughter and causing grievous bodily harm with intent

Stan Reiz KC, instructed by Andrea Wilson of Potter Derby, represented G before the Liverpool Crown Court. G was accused of deliberately driving into two motorcycles carrying 5 young males. As a result of the collisions, a 17 year old was killed and two others were seriously injured. G maintained that the crash was an accident. Collision experts gave evidence for both sides and the jury carefully considered CCTV showing the incident. After 2 hours of deliberations, they unanimously acquitted G of all 8 counts, including murder, manslaughter, causing grievous bodily harm with intent and attempting to cause grievous bodily harm.
