Jim Sturman KC acted for the EFL in disciplinary proceedings against Rochdale AFC and 4 individuals (including 3 Directors of Morton House) for breaches of the Regulations that relate to the Owners and Directors test. Rochdale AFC were sentenced to a suspended 6 point deduction, 3 individuals received 2 year bans from being a “relevant person” and 1 was banned for 18 months. The various defendants were ordered to pay the costs of the Commission and all of the costs of the EFL.
