Simeon Wallis and Huda Musa successful in Affray Trial

Simeon Wallis and Huda Musa, instructed by Paul Cameron and Marcia Lawrence of Bark & Co, successfully defended a step-father and son facing various charges at Basildon Crown Court.  Huda and Simeon’s clients were jointly charged in relation to an Affray which took place at Southend Adventure Island in 2021, and both clients also faced individual charges of assault.  Huda’s client additionally faced a third charge of possession of a bladed article.  Both clients were of good character and Huda’s client was 17 years of age at the time.  Simeon’s client was acquitted following a successful half time submission.  Huda’s client was unanimously acquitted of all matters by the jury within two hours at the end of a week-long trial.
