NP appealed to the Supreme Court following her conviction and unsuccessful appeal before the Court of Appeal for terrorism related offences. She was found in possession of documents which the court had determined would be of use to terrorists as they detailed a terrorist organisation’s internal investigation into failed terrorist operations. The Appellant challenged the Court’s interpretation of the defence statement relied upon by the accused. However the Supreme Court agreed with Sam Magee’s argument that the Court’s interpretation was not just a reasonable one but the correct one. Upholding the Court of Appeal’s decision that the conviction was safe, the Supreme Court unanimously dismissed the appeal.
