Ruth Bader Ginsburg

Chambers mourns the passing of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a Judge with a genuinely towering intellect who stood up for justice and equality throughout her career and inspired so many women to make their careers in the law. Even with her incredible workload and ill health she made the time to meet with William Clegg QC last year and personally wrote to thank the women in chambers for the small gift of a spider brooch they had sent her. She will be missed.
