Stan Reiz KC, successfully defends retired investment banker in assault trial

Stan Reiz KC, instructed by Patrick O’Hanlon of Berkeley Square Solicitors, successfully defended B, a retired managing director of an investment bank, against two counts of assault.
The prosecution alleged that B burst into the home of a man he had fallen out with and assaulted him and his friend. The defence case was that B acted in lawful self-defence throughout.
Following a 5 day trial, the jury unanimously acquitted B of both counts after around 20 minutes of deliberations.
