Olivia Rawlings represented a defendant charged with possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
Police observed him transporting 5.5kg of cannabis in his vehicle. The drug expert witness stated that the cannabis would take 15 years to consume and had a street value of £55,000. The defence case was that the cannabis was for personal use.
The jury unanimously acquitted the defendant within 30 minutes.
