Olivia Rawlings secures drugs acquittal at the Central Criminal Court

Olivia Rawlings represented a defendant charged with possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.
Police observed him transporting 5.5kg of cannabis in his vehicle. The drug expert witness stated that the cannabis would take 15 years to consume and had a street value of £55,000. The defence case was that the cannabis was for personal use.
The jury unanimously acquitted the defendant within 30 minutes.
Olivia was instructed by Dante Leccacorvi of Whitelock and Storr solicitors.
