Nick Bonehill successfully defends Police Officer charged with Misconduct in Public Office 

Nick, instructed by Shade Abiodun of THB solicitors, successfully defended a Police officer charged with Misconduct in Public Office at Ipswich Crown Court. 

At an early stage in the proceedings Nick raised arguments as to the admissibility of key hearsay evidence in the case.

After a lengthy legal argument the Judge ruled in favour of the defence which in turn caused the Crown to accept that there was no longer a realistic prospect of success and so they offered no evidence before trial and a formal verdict of not guilty was entered for Nick’s client.
