Nick Bonehill successfully defends complex medical evidence assault case

Nick Bonehill, instructed by Paul Block of Levy’s Solicitors, successfully defended a man charged with Assault by Penetration following an alleged incident in 2021.
Nick’s client accepted that sexual contact had occurred but maintained that all actions were consensual.
The case involved significant investigation into hours of CCTV footage from before and after the incident, phone data, social media posts and complex medical evidence.
Following a 5-day trial at Chelmsford Crown Court the jury returned a not guilty verdict.
