Police search 165 people in Preston

Police have searched 165 people in Preston using a special order to help cut knife crime.

The section 60 has been in place in the Fishwick and St Matthews areas over the past three nights.

Four teenagers have been stabbed in Lancashire since the start of this month.

The latest was a 14-year-old boy who suffered serious injuries after being knife on or around Samuel Street on Sunday night.

Police have also searched 34 vehicles using the section 60.
