A woman was left with a broken jaw and needing hospital treatment, after an unprovoked attack at a pub in Rishton.

This happened back on New Year's Day at around 12.40am at the Walmsley Arms on High Street.

The 24-year-old woman from Colne was getting ready to leave the pub when she was struck by two women.

She was kicked and punched repeatedly in the head and face and needed hospital treatment.

The people police wanted to speak to have now been identified. They will be spoken to in due course.

Lancashire Police have thanked those who shared the appeal.
