New nightclub coming to Blackburn

Switch nightclub blackburn

Published by Alice Sofield at 6:40am 11th February 2019 (Updated 12:15pm 11th February 2019)

A new nightclub is taking over Blackburn's former Switch.

It's now been revealed that Code will open next month replacing the town's Switch nightclub which closed in October 2018.

Jason Fubar, one of the clubs owners, has taken to Facebook to reassure Blackburn residents that Code will be a success:

"It takes guts to take on town centre nightclubs that have a chequered history, but I’ve done it many times in my past, more recently transforming a tired old Blackpool venue into a state of the art and crowd winning venue.

"Our aim is to put back into Blackburn what has been lacking in the past few years with excellent music, mainly dance music both current and classic styles, with many big name acts and events and with a second room that appeals to lovers of RnB and chart hits.

"We understand it may not appeal to everyone, but we know with our experience of nearly 30 years in the business that we can transform the former Liquid & Envy venue and that Blackburn can once again support an anchor nightclub in the town."

Code opens in March and has an official Facebook page where you can get more information.
