'In Memoriam' taking place in Burnley today

Burnley Football Club will hold a one-minute silence before their match against Fulham today (12/1/19).

It's to remember all of the fans who lost their lives over 2018.

The 'In Memoriam' event will be the seventh in a year.

They say it continues to be a source of solace to many families who lost loved ones.

The silence was first proposed by the Supporter's Liason Group, and has grown over the years.

They invite supporters to submit names of people who you'd like to be remembered.

All names will be displayed on a screen before the match, along with going on the website and in the 'Turf' magazine.
