Air ambulance called to crash in Haslingden

There's been a serious road traffic collision in Haslingden. 

Lancashire Police are on scene. North West Air Ambulance attended too. 

A number of road closures are in place. They're expected to stay put for approximately the next 3 hours. 

Haslingden Road at Elms Tree Farm Road is closed. Roundhill Road from Rising Bridge going towards Blackburn and Farmers Glory (junction of Roundhill road) is closed. Traffic coming from Blackburn will meet a road closure at Broadfields and Rising Bridge Road junction with Roundhill Lane is closed.  

Police are urging people to avoid the area.
