Black plumes of smoke can be seen from a fire in Great Harwood.

We're told J and J Pallets is the scene of the incident.

Blackburn Fire tweeted that the smoke could be seen from the M65;

Fire crews and the police are already on scene.

More follows.

Crews from Preston remain at the site.

They say the gas main to the building has been isolated, which helps them continue to extinguish the fire.

Shocking pictures show the damage caused by the fire.

We're told the fire is 'under control'.

Group manager from the fire service, Liam Wilson, has been speaking to 2BR's Alice;

Five fire engines and the stinger have been dispatched to put the fire out.

We're told there are no injuries reported and everyone got out safely.

People have been bringing water to fire crews currently battling the blaze.

Some roads around the fire have been closed to the public by police.

This includes Hyndburn Road in both directions, to the roundabout outside the Royal Hotel Pub.

Fire crews and police are on scene as they deal with the fire at J and J Pallets.

We're told a large stack of wooden pallets set on fire and it's not known how much of the factory has been affected. Part of the roof seemed to have fallen in and melted.

A warning from the Fire Service to keep doors and windows closed.

Here's what fire crews from Blackburn are facing;

Flames can be seen in this video as fire crews push the public back;

2BR's Alice is at the scene and spoke to Brendan, who works at the factory that's on fire;
