Baby found dead in Worsthorne house

A baby boy has been found dead at a house in Worsthorne, Burnley.

Lancashire Police were called around 11.20am today (Monday, June 11th) to an address in Stoneycroft, Worsthorne.

It followed reports a six-week-old baby had been found unresponsive. 

Emergency services attended but sadly the baby, a boy, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the death is currently being treated as unexplained and an investigation is underway.
