Man's body found hanged at Padiham FC

A man's body has been found in the grounds of Padiham Football Club in Lancashire. 

Lancashire Police were called at around 8am on Saturday (9th June) to reports a man had been found hanged at Padiham Football Club on Well Street.

Officers and paramedics attended but sadly the man, in his 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file has been passed to the coroner.
