Songaminute man launches his own book!

Published by at 6:02am 6th April 2018
Lancashire man Ted McDermott has seen his life take to paper in a new book.
It's being released by son Simon today - who's written down the story of his dad's life.
It's after the duo went viral with their videos of them singing in the car.
Ted was diagnosed with dementia - and since then, he's gradually been getting worse - but music brings him back to life.
Simon discovered this, and videos of the pair singing have now made them famous.
So far, they've won a Pride of Britain award and released a CD of Ted singing,
Now - the book.
Simon from Blackburn spoke to us about the launch, and why he wanted to make his dad's life the focus of the book.
He tells us that he wanted to share every aspect of dementia and what it does not only to his dad, but to the rest of the family too;
Simon started working on the book in December 2016 after they won the Pride of Britain award.
The book's now being released today (6/4/18) - you can buy it from bookstores or through Amazon.
