Fire crews save man's best friend

animal rescue bacup

7:28am 13th February 2018

A happy ending for this little four legged friend!

Lancashire fire crews were called to reports of a dog being trapped in Bacup yesterday morning (12/2/18).

They headed to Blackwood Road in Stackstead just after 10am to find the little guy.

He'd become trapped under a large steel container near to a commercial premise.

Crews used a pedal cutter, partner saw, holmatro equipment and a high pressure air bag.

It took them almost two hours to free the dog - look how thankful he was afterwards!
