Lancashire man charged with terror offences

A man from Nelson in Lancashire has been charged with terrorism offences.

It follows a raid in the town last month.

Husnain Rashid (30/04/1986) of Leonard Street in Nelson, Lancashire has been charged with two offences under section 5 of the terrorism act 2006 (engaging in conduct in preparation for terrorist acts).

He remains in police custody and is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court today, Wednesday 6 December 2017.
