The owners of the Balti Stan restaurant in Clayton le Moors say they will be opening tonight.

That's despite a huge fire in the flat above them.

They've thanked the public for their concerns and say the restaurant hasn't had any damage.

Luckily no one was hurt too.

They say they will be reopening the doors to customers at 4pm tonight (18/11/17).

Fire crews were call to the restaurant on Whalley Road at 5.20pm.

They used an aerial ladder platform to put the fire out from the roadside, whilst four firefighters used two hose reel jets to put it out too.

Then a ventilation unit was used to clear the smoke.
