Lives in Lancashire - East Lancs Hospice

Laura at East Lancs hospice 1

6:08pm 28th July 2017

17 years ago it saved her life.

And ever since - Laura Isherwood has been giving back to East Lancashire Hospice.

The 72-year-old is one of the charity's longest serving volunteers.

Laura helps work the phone on their reception desk and goes out fundraising for East Lancs too.

See how it all started out for Laura here:

East Lancs Hospice relies on the good work of people like Laura to keep going.

The charity provides vital care for families in our communities who need support during their toughest times.

But it needs donations to carry on giving that care and regularly holds fundraisers in our area to help raise money.
