One person's been killed in what police are treating as a terror attack in London.

Police say at least 10 pedestrians have been hit by a van outside a mosque in north London.

There are reports a man armed with a knife leapt out of the vehicle after it happened in Finsbury Park just after midnight.

A 48-year-old man's been arrested.

The Muslim Council of Britain says worshippers leaving Finsbury Park Mosque were targeted and that its prayers are with the victims.

It's thought the man that died was already getting treatment after collapsing in the street.

The van was deliberately driven at the people trying to help him.

Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn, who is also the MP for the area, says the attack should be treated as seriously as any other terrorist activity.
