Boy beaten up during robbery

A boy was punched as teenagers stole his bike in Burnley.

At around 7:45pm yesterday (18th May) he was riding down Moseley Road near the jucntion with Rosehill Road.

The two teenage boys then attacked the victim before taking his bike.

Det Con Katrina Scott, of Lancashire Police, said:

"We are investigating a robbery in Burnley where a 14-year-old boy had his bike stolen. 

"The victim has been left shaken and we are urging anyone who can assist with our enquiries to come forward. 

"Furthermore, if you have seen the bike described, please get in touch."


Here's where it happened:

Both males, described as wearing dark clothing with their hoods up

The victim's bike is being described as black, dark green and lime coloured Carrera Vulcan mountain bike.
