Man charged with murdering his wife

A man's been charged with murdering his wife in Preston.

52 year old Jamal Khan is accused of killing Humara Khan.

Police were called to an adress on Chatsworth shortly after 2am on Wednesday, (February 15).

The 42 year old was found inside the address with a serious head injury.

She was taken by ambulance to Royal Preston Hospital where she sadly later died.

He'll appear before Preston magistrates today.
