The confusion surrounding the John Lewis Christmas advert

7:23am 4th November 2016
(Updated 8:12am 4th November 2016)
Trending on Facebook this morning is the John Lewis Christmas advert....but not all is as it seems.
So people have been sharing the 'snow globe' on social media, thinking it's this years tear-jerker. However it's actually someone's A-Level coursework and we think it's rather good.
It was released on You Tube back in June but it has now been shared thousands of times after people on social media assumed it was this year's offering. Doh!
People had been speculating that the advert would be released this morning - the first Friday in November - as it has in previous years. However the retailer is starting Christmas a little later and a spokesperson has said it won't be this week.
