Giant cyclist set to be around for the entire weekend

Pendle Hill Giant Cyclist

Published by at 3:31pm 11th September 2015 (Updated 3:45pm 11th September 2015)

The giant artwork of a cyclist will stay on Pendle Hill over the weekend.

The art - created by land artist Phillippe Handford from Barrowford - was created in celebration of the Tour of Britain on Monday.

It's been on Pendle's famous landmark for the past week, to remind everyone about the world's elite cyclists heading to Colne this week. The second stage of the Tour of Britain had cyclists tackling some of the borough's toughest courses - including the Nick o' Pendle and Pendle Hill itself.

This is the last weekend you'll be able to catch a glimpe of the giant cyclist - which will be taken down after the weekend.
