Putting a roof over the heads of the homeless in Burnley

Whilst many of us look forward to sharing gifts this Christmas.
Some people in the area are just glad to have a roof over their heads.
The Elizabeth Street Project in Burnley/Lancashire provides 20 rooms for people who've found themselves homeless - there's currently only one vacant room
People are referred to the service through their local authority
This year LeeRoy will be spending Christmas in the shelter he says:
"I'd be on the street, I'd be struggling, I'd be begging. If I weren't in this place I would have had problems but I love it, I've got my own space. I feel like I'm going to enjoy Christmas more than where I was before. I feel like I'm going to enjoy myself".
