Alex Davidson successful in cryptoasset forfeiture case

Alex Davidson represented the National Crime Agency in its successful application for a cryptoasset forfeiture order over cryptoassets valued at approximately £2 million.

As these new cryptoasset civil recovery powers only came into force on 26 April 2024, the order is understood to be one of the first cryptoasset forfeiture orders granted by the courts.
