Louise Sweet KC secured not guilty verdicts at the Old Bailey in relation to a joint enterprise attack in which 3 men were stabbed, one fatally, in an incident in Ham, London. Witnesses described multiple attackers carrying knives including a “Rambo knife”. The case included Louise’s successful exclusion of DNA evidence, cross examination of a child in a s28 procedure and cross examination of a number of hostile witnesses. The defendant accepted presence but not participating in the attack.
