Metropolitan Police officer cleared of assault

Ashraf Khan represented a Metropolitan Police officer, who previously worked at Downing Street and is based within the Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection Team, before a misconduct panel in relation to an allegation of assault. The Panel cleared the officer of gross misconduct after it found the allegation was not proved. The officer is to resume his duties as a licensed firearm officer.
