Kieran Vaughan KC success in murder appeal and retrial

Kieran Vaughan KC instructed by Paul Robinson of Goldkorns Solicitors, successfully represented an appellant in the Court of Appeal, persuading the Court to quash his client’s convictions for murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
Kieran had not been involved at the original trial and was asked to advise the Appellant following the refusal of leave by the Single Judge.
The Court of Appeal directed that the defendant should be re-tried on the charge of murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
Mr Vaughan represented him at his trial and he was acquitted of both charges.
