Jacqueline Carey KC, instructed by Richard Egan and Sorcha Duncan of Egan Meyer, successfully represented a 24 year old defendant accused of raping and sexually assaulting two 15 year old complainants. The defendant was a particularly vulnerable young man with significant communication difficulties and had the assistance of an intermediary throughout the trial.
The defendant was unanimously acquitted by the jury at Bournemouth Crown Court.
