Jack Coyne, instructed by George Dixon of JSP Legal, represented HT who was acquitted of s.18 GBH after a 4 day trial at Chelmsford Crown Court. HT had been involved in a dispute with a neighbour which culminated with the neighbour being hit by the defendant’s car and seriously injured. The defendant had pleaded guilty to causing serious injury by dangerous driving but had denied intending to hit the victim with his car and intending to cause any injuries.
