Cases, News 16 Apr 24

Jack Coyne, instructed by Kerry Spence of Hodge, Jones and Allen, represented RT who faced two separate allegations of possessing class A drugs with intent to supply. The two incidents had occurred 6 months apart, with the second offence having been committed by the defendant whilst on bail for the first offence. Despite RT having pleaded guilty after the Plea and Trial Preparation Hearing, following a successful Newton hearing, Jack persuaded the Luton Crown Court to impose a suspended sentence.
