The health and safety of our clients, customers and staff is our top priority. We are closely monitoring the outbreak of COVID – 19 and as we hear more about the Coronavirus we want to assure you that we are following government advice and recommendations set out by Public Health England to ensure your safety.
We are following government guidelines and ask please that you read this carefully:
1. Please consider whether it is possible to avoid coming into Chambers altogether. Apps such as Zoom and Blue Jeans are readily available and suitable for conference calling.
2. if you have a diagnosis of Covid 19 you should stay at home for 14 days. Please do not come into Chambers.
3. If you have developed a cough and / or a high temperature please do not come into Chambers. You should stay at home for 7 days.
4. If you have been in close contact with someone who has or has had the virus please do not come into Chambers. You should stay at home for 14 days.
5. If you or any member of your household has shown symptoms of the virus please do not come into chambers for 14 clear days after you/they first showed the symptoms.
6. If you are over 70 of have an underlying health condition we would urge you to consider carefully whether your trip to chambers is necessary and if not to postpone your visit for 3 months.
7. If you have been to one of the following countries in the last 14 days please do not come into Chambers:
Wuhan city and Hubei Province (China) Iran, Daegu or Cheongdo (Republic of Korea), and any Italian town under containment measures.
8. If you have been to any one of the following countries and are symptom free you may still come into Chambers but please let us know of any cough or flu like changes in your health before you attend Chambers:
Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, northern Italy, Japan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, Republic of Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
9. If you do need to come into Chambers please wash your hands thoroughly for 20 seconds upon arrival.
10. Please do not be offended if we do not shake hands.
11. Please tell the receptionist your name and mobile telephone number; it is important we keep a register of visitors to Chambers.
