Emma Kutner, instructed by Seth Collins of Paul Robinson Solicitors, represented the only defendant who was acquitted in a multi-handed trial.
RB was unanimously acquitted by the jury of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and affray.
The Crown had alleged that RB had encouraged and assisted his co-defendants who drove two cars in convoy, chasing the victim in his car from Southend to Basildon, before ramming him off the road and driving into him.
RB was present in the car which was said to have driven into the victim and was said to have been part of an affray in which a baseball bat was used to smash the victim’s car windows when he was stationary at traffic lights.
