Faye Stimpson has more than two decades’ experience in barristers’ chambers, with particular expertise in the management and development of leading criminal practices.
Her experience spans the full spectrum of general, serious and complex crime, alongside corporate and financial crime, private prosecutions, professional regulation, inquests and inquiries, and public law.
Her experience encompasses practice development and strategy, business development, client relationships, recruitment, talent development, operations and people management. She has worked closely with Heads of Chambers, barristers and clerking teams, as well as collaborating across the wider legal profession, particularly with solicitors, to develop practices, identify opportunities and build strong, long-term relationships.
Faye is passionate about the Bar, modern clerking and the wider profession, and about helping professionals achieve their potential at every stage of their careers.
She was shortlisted for the Clerk of the Year award at the 2020 Legal 500 Bar Awards, despite then not being a senior clerk.
Outside chambers, Faye is mum to a four-year-old daughter and enjoys skiing, yoga, running, horse riding, music, and film.
