News 9 Jul 26

2BR is delighted to announce that Christine Agnew KC, Jacqueline Carey KC and Ashraf Khan have all been appointed as members of The Football Association’s Safeguarding Review Panel.

The Football Association is the governing body of football in England and is responsible for regulating and promoting the game at every level, from grassroots and youth football through to the professional game and the England national teams.

The Safeguarding Review Panel forms part of The FA’s independent safeguarding framework.

Sitting as a three-person tribunal, the Panel determines safeguarding cases arising within football and has the power to impose safeguarding measures, interim suspensions and other protective orders where appropriate.

The Panel also considers appeals arising from safeguarding decisions.

Through this work, the Panel plays an important role in promoting welfare, protecting participants and maintaining confidence in the game.
