Carers Week

Monday 11th June marks the start of Carers Week on 2BR and we want to recognise the work that Lancashire's amazing carers do.

A carer is someone who provides unpaid, often intensive support to family or friends who could not manage without that support. They could be caring for a relative, partner, friend or neighbour who is ill, frail, disabled, or has mental health or substance misuse problems.

All this week, we will be highlighting the importance of carers and their health and wellbeing and how Carers Link Lancashire provide ways to help carers.

Monday - Days Out

Tuesday - Volunteering

Wednesday - Go2 Scheme

Thursday - Caravans

Friday - Music Therapy
