Callum Munday, instructed by Kelly Thomas of Tuckers Solicitors, successfully defended a Naval Police Officer in a recent Court Martial trial at the Bulford Military Court Centre. The defendant had been charged with breaching standing orders, by allegedly being naked in bed with another sailor, and sexually assaulting a second colleague by climbing into her bed and touching her breasts.
At the close of the prosecution case, the judge agreed that there was no case to answer on the first charge, and a verdict of not guilty was entered. In relation to the charge of sexual assault, the Board acquitted the defendant after deliberating for only 25 minutes.
