Freya Rock has developed a busy practice prosecuting and defending in the Crown, Magistrates’ and Youth Courts. She has experience across the spectrum of criminal offences including cases involving drugs, violence, robbery, weapons, domestic abuse, dishonesty (including theft, fraud and money laundering), sexual offences, public order and road traffic offences.

Alongside her criminal practice, Freya is regularly instructed by Transport for London in licensing appeals. She also has experience of quasi-criminal matters involving Sexual Risk Orders and gang injunctions.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Freya was a postgraduate researcher at the University of Cambridge. She conducted a research project, funded by the Economic and Social Research Council, focusing on the role of Victim Personal Statements in Crown Court sentencing hearings.
