Eleanor Gwilym is establishing a career as a trial advocate across the spectrum of criminal offences.
Eleanor accepts instructions for the Prosecution and Defence in the Crown, Magistrates’ and Youth Courts on both a publicly and privately funded basis. She has been instructed in cases involving serious violence, drugs offences, robbery, weapons offences, theft and fraud, and sexual offences.
Eleanor has an expanding Inquiry practice. She has been instructed by Peters & Peters to review documents in relation to the Post Office ‘Horizon’ Appeals and has carried out a review of historic criminal allegations made by a subpostmaster as sole counsel. She is regularly instructed by Transport for London at Licencing Appeals and has worked with the British Society of Psychoanalysts in the conduct of a fitness to practice investigation.
Eleanor is a Welsh-speaker and accepts instructions in Welsh.
