Charlotte Davison has a wide range of experience in cases across Crime, Professional Discipline, Regulatory and Sports Law.
Charlotte was previously Regulatory Counsel for the British Horseracing Authority, with expertise in a wide array of sports regulatory and disciplinary work. She advised on and presented cases involving corruption, anti-doping (human and equine), code of conduct, betting, licensing suitability and numerous appeals from on course raceday findings. Charlotte also advised extensively on changes to the Rules of Racing and associated guidance documentation.
Charlotte’s criminal law experience spans the full spectrum of criminal offences, including murder, serious violent and sexual offending, conspiracies, drugs, offences of dishonesty and arson. A number of Charlotte’s cases have involved substantial papers, and she is adept at analysing cases of extensive volume, in particular in relation to issues of disclosure.
Charlotte’s experience spans all areas of crime, from offences of dishonesty to murder. She is a Level 3 prosecutor on the Crown Prosecution Service General Crime Panel.

Charlotte has significant experience in this field, having acted as Regulatory Counsel for the British Horseracing Authority for several years (please see sports law page of profile).
Charlotte has also appeared before the Health and Care Professions Tribunal and has previously represented police officers charged with criminal offences.
