1. Two Army JNCO’s were charged by the Service Prosecuting Authority with theft of military equipment. The prosecution case was that the equipment in question had been fraudulently signed out of Stores by the 1st defendant and sold by the 2nd defendant to a third party for financial gain. Following detailed written submissions by counsel for both defendants, both defendants were found not guilty.
2. Mr Power also acted for an RAF officer accused of sexual assault on an SNCO who was found not guilty. Analysis of the telephone evidence led to material that forced the prosecution to discontinue the case after written and oral submissions from Mr Power.
