The Regulator investigated and prosecuted the director of a corporate trustee of the Yateley Industries for the Disabled Limited pensions fund. Patrick McLarry stole over £250,000 to fund property purchases in France and Hampshire.
He pleaded guilty to fraud on the first day of trial at Salisbury Crown Court on 11th November 2019. Sentence was adjourned to 13th December with the Recorder of Salisbury indicating that a substantial prison sentence will be imposed. There will be a full proceeds of crime investigation following sentence.
