Alex Davidson wins extradition essay competition

Chambers is pleased to announce that our current pupil Alex Davidson has been selected as the winner of the John RWD Jones QC Extradition Essay Competition 2020.

This prestigious competition is run annually by the Defence Extradition Lawyers Forum and is named in honour and in memory of the much missed John Jones QC. This year’s question was “Under what circumstances might extradition from the UK to China be possible?”. A judging panel consisting of the Senior District Judge Emma Arbuthnot, Edward Fitzgerald QC and Anand Doobay selected the winning essay.
