2BR welcomes Faye Stimpson as Senior Clerk

Chambers is delighted to welcome Faye Stimpson as she takes up her position as our new senior Clerk.

Faye brings more than two decades of clerking experience, spanning the full spectrum of general, serious and complex crime, alongside corporate and financial crime, private prosecutions, professional regulation, inquests and inquiries and public law.  She has been recognised for many years as one of the leading clerks in the country, and was shortlisted for the Clerk of the Year award at the 2020 Legal 500 Bar Awards, despite then not being a senior clerk.

Our joint heads of Chambers, Brian Altman KC and Christine Agnew KC, said “We are thrilled that Faye is joining us as our new Senior Clerk.  She is a first class addition to our already excellent Clerks’ Room.  This has been a really exciting time for Chambers, with our new premises, a series of recent top level recruits, and now we have a hugely talented and experienced new Senior Clerk to help ensure that we continue to provide the level of quality and service that our clients expect. Faye will take charge of our outstanding clerking team from today, ably supported by Deputy Senior Clark, Graham Briggs, and the practice lead clerks, Lee Bartlett and Joe Martin.  Chambers extends its special thanks to Graham for his exceptional work leading the Clerks’ Room during the recruitment process, and to Lee and Joe and our team of fantastic diary and junior clerks, who have continued to deliver an outstanding service during this period.
